Here is one such product that leaves me thinking ‘why has this not been done before?’
Images from a beautiful motion piece by Bl:nd, an American multimedia design studio. This motion piece was for Dr.Martins who are celebrating their 50th anniversary. Dr.Martins asked 10 artists to record a cover version of a cult classic track that represented the spirit of people who wore their shoes. This of course is a cover of Jeff Buckly “Lilac wine”
Check out the motion piece here.
Really nice stop motion piece, raising awareness of the Smart Board. It is amazing that we have come to this stage, I remember the blackboard and chalk!
Fantastic video from Craig Shimala, who captured lightning stricking three of the tallest buildings in Chicago.
This is a nice advert for Samsung. Its bound to start going viral. I like the fact there upfront about it being connected with them and didnt go the route RayBan did when they filmed a gu getting RayBans tattooed on his face.
Bringing tags to life in 3D. Solomon Vaughan, a graffiti artist, thought himself to use 3D programmes and created models of his tags. It reminded me of the graffiti analysis project by Evan Roth.

Like this pretty random animation by Jack Cunningham.
An animated short by Tiny Inventions, about a couple on holiday in San Francisco , when they meet a man they believe is the Zodiac Killer.
Really loving the new animation for YouTube Play by Johnny Kelly. Work submitted to the site will go in front of a jury who will select the most creative clips to showcase at the Guggenheim Museum in New York.

The bp oil disaster began on the 20th of April 2010. Today the 11th of June, it is still gushing oil into our sea with no sign of it stopping any time soon. What have BP done? Big brands need to have ethical policies in place to stop disasters like this happening again. It seems all to often these brands think they are a law onto themselves. They must feel they can get away with almost anything. We as the consumer must turn our back on these brands and go somewhere else. It is only through reduced revenue and reduced customer loyalty will these big brands think before they act. We have long stopped using any BP station in Birmingham and others must do the same.
